We are Gustavo
and Romain!
We’ve been together now for more than 12 years,
lived in more than 8 countries and we speak 4 languages. Both of us have a strong professional background, leading demanding projects in a fast-paced environment for a big French company.
Having a family has always been at the center of our dreams. We explored the options we had as a gay couple,
surrogacy seemed to be the best option for us.
In 2017 we contacted the first surrogacy agencies,
but at the time it wasn’t easy. We felt lost with so many information. The process seemed complex, expensive, unclear, risky and filled with grey zones...
Our journey wasn’t easy nor straightforward
Long story short, it took us two years to take the decision to jump in. After a long road, with a lot of turns and some bumps, we are now happy parents of Matias and Julia.
During our journey, even if our families were there to support us, the reality is, it truly felt lonely and overwhelming sometimes.
No one told us about that!
We could rely on our experience in project management but we had none in surrogacy. Without mentioning that both of us had a very tight schedule at work so dealing with all that and having to make some blind choices, sometimes it was a lot!

That’s how WeAreGrom! Surrogacy Planners came to life. To, in a way, offer other parents, in the same position as us, what we couldn’t have!
We are marrying the knowledge that we acquired from our own journey with our strong professional experience, to create, a tailor-made service, from parents to parents, guiding families the best way into their surrogacy journey.

Gustavo Sotero was born in Brazil.
He lived in France, Chile, Argentina, USA & Canada.
He speaks Portuguese, French, Spanish and English.
Gustavo has 10+ years of experience managing international projects in multi-national companies holding top executive positions such as VP of Marketing and General Manager.
He is also a burger lover, an organization master and is on his way to become a professional coach.

Romain!
Romain Menei was born in France. He lived in Brazil, the UK & the USA. He speaks French, English and Portuguese.
Romain has 9+ years of experience in a multi-national company and is now Head of Consumer Engagement & CRM.
He is also a Yoga Teacher, a chocolate lover and a money saver addict.
